Prayer For Forming Israel’s New Government
1 Samuel 2:7-10; Zechariah 4:6

“You, O LORD of hosts have SWORN: ‘As I have planned, so shall it be, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand…’ For You, the LORD of hosts have purposed, and who will annul it? Your hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back? For You are G-d, and also henceforth are You He; there is none who can deliver from Your hand; YOU WORK AND WHO CAN HINDER IT? For You are G-d, and there is no other; You are G-d, and there is none like You, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘MY COUNSEL SHALL STAND, and I WILL ACCOMPLISH ALL MY PURPOSE… I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I WILL DO IT.’”

“Oh Lord, Holy One of Israel, there is no authority except from you. Let the new ruling authority in Israel be set up by you and not by plotting and scheming men. Therefore, let the government to be formed to be given to us by you. Let the new government be Your servants for the good of all of Israel’s citizens. Ultimate justice and vengeance belongs to You alone, but governments carry out earthly justice upon the wrong doer.”
Ps 75:7; Da 2:21 “For it is you who lifts up and puts down, Who removes leaders and sets up leaders. Let it be You Who sets up this new government. We had this March 2021 the 4th election in just 2 years. Your nation is in desperate need of your intervention. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was not able to form a government. Therefore Israel’s President Reuven Rivlin asked Yair Lapid to form the new government, whom I personally did not trust but voted for him nevertheless. He was the only one with a common sensed platform, although his support of gay pride and same-sex marriage is defying Your express commandments, Lord. Moreover, the ultra-orthodox parties who claim to be serving You, Lord, but only follow their own laws, do not have the interests of all of Israel at heart but only those of their constituents. Abba, in Yeshua’s Name, deliver us out of the ultra-orthodox parties’ control.
Lord, we pray, may this new government[1] of a whole new generation turn out to be the best modern Israel has ever had. Let anyone who does not serve your good purposes for Israel be removed from power. Please, let anyone who seeks his own interests be cut off from authority and power. Almighty God, You Wo raises up kings and brings princes down, You Who sets up governments and brings them down, please put law abiding men and women of integrity, skillful and experienced in their professions and in leadership, into the seat of power and authority. May they lead Your nation back to You and according to Your purposes. May they seek You for counsel and guidance, having no agenda of their own, but speak the truth and not lies. May they have the welfare of your Land and nation, her peace and prosperity at heart and place them before their own interests.
Now Lord, Yair Lapid and Naphtali Bennet have announced the formation of their alliance and are [were] to be sworn in on Sunday, June 13th, a number that is often connected with mysterious happenings of grave or disastrous nature. For the first time in modern Israel’s history an Islamist Arab party, Ra’am, part of the Joint Arab List, of which Ahmad Tibi is a member who is known for his hatred of Israel, calling our nation ocupiers of THEIR Palestine[2], will be sworn in as part of the Bennet-Lapid government.
With Arab citizens of Israel who are still enemies of the State, yet were granted the privilege to
become under free elections members of the Israeli Parlament and who enjoy freedom of speech, which has them claim the lie without fearing arrest that Israel is actually Palestine and strive to oust the nation from her rightful place of national ownership and sovereignity. Therefore we pray, Abba, that You will reveal your strong hand and rebuke the liars and bring them to justice. Make especially Christians understand that all of this is not a matter of “politics” – a modern term that did not exist in Biblical times – but all of hell’s desperate attempt to prevent Yeshua from returning to His land, people, and city, by taking it away from the Jews and create on the ruins of Israel – Palestine. Abba, since they claim to be literal descendants of the Philistines, let Your word of judgment therefore descend upon their own heads[3]
Hos. 8:4, 7 Let it be You, O Holy One of Israel, Who sets up the ministers who are to head Israel’s ministries. Let them not sow to the wind and Your nation reap the whirlwind. O Lord GOD Almighty, watch over Your nation as over the apple of the eye and raise up the best government Israel: stable, solid, for 4 years leading Your nation with integrity, in faithfulness, righteousness and justice, in peace and prosperity.”
Pr 21:1, 3; Eccl 3:1 – “Be blessed, oh our God, for ever and ever, for to you belongs wisdom and might. Grant wisdom to the men to be sworn in to lead this next government, and knowledge and understanding to the men and women who will be heading Israel’s ministries, each fit for their posts of Defense Ministry, Foreign Ministry, Interior Ministry, and all of the other ministries. Direct their decision making like you direct the water courses, making the right choices according to your appointed times and seasons, each heading their ministry skillfully and with righteousness and justice, insight and understanding.”
Jer. 32:41-42; 29:11; Zech. 8:11, 12, 15; Isa. 54:9-10 – “Remember, Abba in heaven, your promise that You will rejoice in doing Your people, Your nation good with all your heart and all Your soul, that you will bring upon them all the good that You have promised them. Be mindful of your plans for Israel, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give your nation a future and a hope. Remember also, that You said You will not deal with Your people as You did formerly, with punishment for transgression, but let there be a sowing of peace between the men and women whom You raise up to form the new government. Let not the curses of the Law come upon your nation for all of our backslidings, sins, abominations and apostasies but purpose now to do good to Your nation and act according to Your oath which You swore that as the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so have You sworn that You will not be angry with Your people nor rebuke them. For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed but your steadfast love shall not depart from Israel nor your covenant of peace be removed from your people because You have compassion on us.”
Ps 115:1-2; Ezek. 36:2; Jer. 33:24-26; Isa. 41:8-10, 13, 14 – “Almighty Lord and God, we ask that not to us but to Your Name You give glory with hearing, granting and answering our prayers, for Your holy Name’s sake, and for the sake of your steadfast love and faithfulness. For why should the nations say, ‘Where is their God? He has rejected them.’ We thank You, Father in heaven, for glorifying Your Name in the sight of all of our neighbors, by helping us according to Your promise, strengthening and upholding us with Your victorious right hand, by setting up a government which will do Your will for Your nation, healing and helping us, keeping us safe from the synagogue of Satan and from those who seek their own interests but not the welfare of your people.”
Hos 2:19-20; 14:4; Jer. 3:22; Ezek. 34:30-31 – “Betroth Your people to You in righteousness and justice, in steadfast love and in mercy and faithfulness, healing us from all of our backslidings and say to Your nation which is without a shepherd, ‘You are My people, the sheep of My pasture, and I am Your God,’ that we and our leaders may return to You with all our heart and soul and say, ‘You are our God.’”
Finally, our request and prayer, together with many others is, let this Green Pass be undone and eliminated once and for all, in Yeshua’s Name [this has been done]. We resist all the lies of the enemy and declare the truth in Yeshua! Beloved Heavenly Father, please have mercy on your nation, on everyone who loves and seeks peace, and to live according to Your ways and commandments, in the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach!
